Kaye & Brian with (l-r) Matisse, Kismet & MonetWelcome to Pet Talk Radio

Is it our imagination or is the year 'going fast?'!!

We often wonder if our pets have the same sensation...

Probably not - an animals concept of time is quite different to ours - light... dark... that's about it!

And when it comes to 'attention spans'... are your pets like ours?... They can hear really well around dinner time and less so at other times...!!

We hope you enjoy our Featured Story below... with animal trainer Steve Austin answering a very common listener question "Why Won't My Dogs Listen?"

Hugs for your pets from...

Why Won't My Dogs Listen?

Dachshunds"Fido come. Fido COME. FIDO C.O.M.E!!!" Sound familiar?

Do you have a dog with selective hearing? Why is it you never have to call your dog when the treat bag is accidentally rustled or the toaster pops at breakfast time?

We get a lot of questions at Pet Talk Radio! but most of these concern jumping, digging, barking – you know, the usual stuff!

One very concerned listener wants to know why all her friends' dogs seem to listen to them, but her two Dachies don't seem to listen to her at all – to anything she says!

Listen to what animal trainer Steve Austin suggests in this segment.

Does your dog listen to you? Or does he or she only listen when it suits them?
