Australia’s Top 5 Behavioural Problems – and How to Solve Them!
Some dogs are born perfect – the rest of us have to deal with seemingly endless pooch problems.
Jumping, digging, barking, biting, chewing, pulling, crying, phobias, fighting, licking, humping – the list seems endless.
But according to animal behaviourist Dr Joanne Righetti – almost all of the classic canine dramas boil down to just five key misbehaviours – and all are able to be rectified if you’ve got the right info.
Check out Joanne's suggestions – we guarantee you’ll be surprised by the cause of the number one problem on her list!

How to Stop a 'Scooter'

No - Pet Talk Radio isn’t advocating you use your dog’s ‘prey drive’ to ambush that noisy motor-bike hoon. This is a far more delicate problem – and it’s almost always worse in winter when your dog is indoors.
Picture this; your dog suddenly assumes what’s known in the sport of diving as a perfect ‘pike position’ (rear legs stretched forward) then uses his two front paws to drag his butt across your carpet. He’s a ‘scooter’!
We yelled ‘helpppppp!' - and Dr Harry Cooper answered.
Listen as he shares some tips on how to deal with this embarrassing problem.

Does Your Dog Have ESP?
Most dog parents will tell you their dog understands every word they say – but can our canines read our mind or predict what we’re going to do? Do they have ESP - extra-sensory perception?
Maybe your dog knows when you are coming home – long before they could possibly hear or see you coming!
Californian philanthropist Alex Tsakiris believes that just like the ‘X-Files’ the truth is out there – and he’s scouring the world to find someone who can prove their pet has some kind of invisible connection with their owner. Is that you?
Check out some of the amazing stories he’s already heard from people who are convinced their dog is psychic.
