PTR #276 Segment 3/5 Horses: They Don't Just Eat Grass Ya Know!

If you’re a fan of that old favourite Mr Ed on TV then you’ve probably got a somewhat warped picture of how horses live. 

No.1 they don’t talk – not in English anyway - but their body condition and mental health speak volumes about how good their diet is.

Until we spoke with horse nutrition expert Dr Nerida Richards, we didn’t know how complicated it was to get horse nutrition just right. 
There are definite skills that need to be learnt – which is partly why a very specialised group of horse experts gathered in Raymond Terrace near Newcastle NSW to give a seminar on May 25th on a whole range of horse health subjects.
